Brushless Induction Motor

An brushless induction motor is a type of brushless electric motor in which an alternating supply fed to the windings of the stator creates a magnetic field that induces a current in the windings of the rotor.
An brushless induction motor is an asynchronous AC motor where power is transferred to the rotor by electromagnetic induction, much like transformer action.
Since the induction brushless motor has no DC field winding, there is no sustained field current in the rotor to provide flux as is the case with a synchronous machine.
